Westford Hires Tommy O’Connor as Town Administrator
The Selectboard voted unanimously in last night’s meeting to hire Tommy O’Connor as Westford’s new Town Administrator. Tommy replaces Holly Delisle, who left the position this summer and who the Selectboard thanked for her service to the Town.
Tommy has a background in nonprofit management, most recently serving as the Executive Director for Vermont ATV Sportsman’s Association (VASA), and previously as the Executive Director of the Vermont Farm Bureau. Beyond budget and personnel management, in his prior roles, Tommy has frequently and effectively interacted with a diverse array of stakeholders including local and state governments, and is adept at navigating and communicating about long-term complex policy questions that have a public interest and impact.
The Selectboard stated, “Beyond Tommy’s management, communication, and grants experience, we think he has a great personality and brings a supportive coaching mindset that will be a great fit with our staff and community.”
Tommy stated, “I’m excited to come to a vibrant community that is full of neighbors working to maintain Westford’s quintessential Vermont feel while planning for its future.”
Tommy lives with his family in nearby Jeffersonville, Vermont.

Tommy’s first day will be August 25th, and the Selectboard on behalf of all staff and the community, are excited to welcome him to the community.
