Rethink Local is proud to support some of the people who play a key role in supporting community, civic engagement, and collaboration at the local level – professional municipal managers. Whether a City or Town Manager or Administrators, these individuals, usually the CEO or COO of your local government, play a crucial role in supporting the functions of their local government and community.
The first Municipal Solutions Summit in 2024, created and hosted by Woodstock, Vermont Municipal Manager (and Rethink Local board member) Eric Duffy is another excellent example of bi-state collaboration between municipal managers in New Hampshire and Vermont.
To support this important group and encourage multi-state collaboration that can lead to more innovative solutions and help support new professionals entering the field Rethink Local provides a free email list via Google Groups for City/Town Managers/Administrators in New England. On it, members can ask questions, share project ideas, event invitations, best practices, local government data, and more. To request to join the list please contact us or reach out to Alex Torpey.
