Upper Valley Civics Meetup

We are working to organize a regularly scheduled meetup in the Upper Valley to help provide a space for people to work with and learn from each other about how to get constructively and effective engaged in their community.

Our meetups will allow people to:

  1. Learn from expert local government practitioners and other active citizens how government and politics works
  2. Share ideas, policies, or programs that people are working on, or want to work on, in their communities
  3. Workshop ideas and plans with a trusted group of individuals committed to helping empower others to be effective civic navigators.

Each meeting, we follow (loosely) the following agenda:

  1. Introductions
  2. Group reflection on Upper Valley Civics Meetup Values
  3. 10-minute Local Government 101 Tip
  4. Group discussion and workshopping
  5. Next meeting date
